Opsytec Dr. Gröbel: UV measurement technology and irradiation systems since 1981 Opsytec Dr. Gröbel GmbH develops, manufactures and calibrates optical measurement and irradiation systems for ultraviolet and visible radiation. The UV measurement technology ranges from a single UV sensor through radiometers and spectroradiometers to complete irradiation systems. The programme comprises UV sensors, radiometers, spectroradiometers, UV LED systems, irradiation chambers and customer-specific optical solutions for industry and research. The company's UV measurement technology goes back to Dr. Gröbel UV-Elektronik, founded in 1981; manufacturing takes place in-house at its site in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe, Germany. We are accredited as a calibration laboratory for UV sensors and as a testing laboratory for spectrometers, spectral radiometers, and light sources in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018-03. We develop, manufacture, and distribute all our products worldwide. Quality and on-time delivery are of the utmost importance to us. To achieve this, we rely on an efficient quality management system and ensure this through our ISO 9001:2015 certification. Since 1981, we have established UV-measurement milestones with our products again and again. For example, in 1986 we were able to offer a microprocessor-controlled spectral radiometer called SR-02. It was followed by many compact, durable UV radiometers. In 1991, we received certification as an accredited facility for non-therapeutic UV radiation equipment (DIN CERTCO). We worked as a testing center until 1997 and then changed our focus to industrial process control. In 2013, the OpSyTec GmbH and Dr. Groebel UV electronics GmbH merged to form Opsytec Dr. Groebel GmbH. Dr. Manfred Gröbel has successfully led Dr. Gröbel UV electronics for more than 30 years. Dr. Stefan Pieke and Dr. Mark Paravia founded Opsytec, offering engineering services and contract measurement, in 2008. With the merger of the two companies, we offer a full range of services and products for different UV applications and measurements of UV and visible light.
